happiness!

I'm soooo happy right now! I found out that one of my most-favorite-bands-ever is going to be doing a show near me in December! The Used will be playing at Northern Lights on December 29th with Senses Fail and Don't Look Down. Ahhh...I can't wait!

Speaking of Northern Lights, Cory submitted some photos I took to the N.L. site from when we saw Papa Roach (one of my other most favorite bands!). I so proud of myself that I got close enough to the stage to take those pics. Ahhh....memories of touching Coby's belly. :)

Anywho... you can see the photos here:

Coby 1

Coby 2

Not the best quality photos in the world....but it was dark & smokey & I was smooshed in between a gazillion people - so I'm proud of them :) I have more too. One of these days I'm going to make an online photo album so I can post all of my concert photos.

window shopping

I love browsing around online so I can look at stuff that I will buy when I win the lottery. Haha!

Chiasso has some wicked cool stuff. There prices are high, but they have really good sales in their outlet center and lots of funky merchandise.

Check out this BILANCIA ETTY SCALE, it's the coolest and 75% off!

James the Doorman - isn't he the cutest?

Very cool puzzle ottomans. Should more than one ottoman be referred to as "ottomen" ?

I want a Lake Fountain!!!

Heart Spoons - cute!

Goldfish Glasses - cool!

Retro Aquarium - for your hipster fish! ;)

Ahh....shopping....so fun.

can'tthinkofagoodtitle

Look at me! Posting again!! (and 2 weeks haven't even gone by!!)

So, I straightened out all of the insurance stuff, I ended up keeping all of the same exact insurance I had this year. Now I just have to force myself to make some doctor & dental appointments! That's the scary part.

My weekend was busy & yet uneventful. Nothing exciting happened really, but I was trying to get a lot done.

This has been such a boring Monday. It's rainy, cold and gross outside. I have barely had any work to do. I'm tired. I'm hungry. I just want to go home!! Yes, I'm in quite a "woe is me" mood today!!

I think I need a Happy Bunny I Hate Everything magnet in my cubicle. Hehehe. Ok, things aren't really that bad, I'm just whining. I promise a more fun filled post next time ;)

insurance

Why does choosing between medical & dental insurance plans have to be so confusing?! It's that time of year agian - we have to (re)enroll for our benefits and the deadline is tomorrow so I'm really trying to get it all done today. The medical isn't such a hassle - I think I will just stick with the same plan I have had, but the dental is just so confusing.

I haven't been to a dentist in a LONG time despite having dental insurance for the past couple of years. I am just a big chicken & can't convince myself to go, but I need LOTS of dental work done. I know I need braces (hopefully I can get the new Invisalign kind - no way am I going to have a metal mouth at the age of 23!!) and my wisdom teeth are poking through in places and they really hurt sometimes. Needless to say I MUST make myself go to the dentist soon, but I don't know what to do about the insurance. I have two dental plans to pick from - one plan pays certain percentages for different services - anywhere from 100% down to only 50% depending on the procedure you are having done. The other plan has no deductible, no maximum benefit- meaning I could get an unlimited amount of dental work done - but I have to pay a schedule-based copay on certain services. The second one seems better BUT as far as I know there are NO orthodontists available under that plan in my area and there is only ONE local dentist office I can go to and I don't know if I would really like going there or not. So.......it's a tough choice. UGH. I'm going nuts trying to weigh the pros and cons. I have had a few weeks to do it and of course I wait until the last minute.

Well, I'm off to do more research! Sorry for the ultra boring post!

remember me?

Yes, I'm still here!! Did you miss me?! I have missed updating my blog but I have been so busy with work I just haven't had a chance in the past two weeks to update!

I have been doing a new job here at work which keeps me much busier than my data entry job did unfortunately. Last week one of my coworkers was out on vacation so I had to cover for him and on Friday and yesterday another coworker was out so I was actually doing the work of 3 people at once. Agggh. Stressfull! At least that is over with and things are somewhat back to normal now.

So what have I been doing in the past two weeks? Hmmm....well, we only got ONE trick-or-treater at our house on Halloween! I couldn't believe it! Now we have a big bowl of candy that we are never going to finish. I purposely bought kinds that I don't like too much so I wouldn't want to eat it all!! We never did go to see The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, we just stayed home all Halloween night. Other than that not much exciting has been going on.

We rented a few movies this weekend. We saw:

Eight Crazy Nights - That was a funny movie. I kept thinking about some old woman seeing that movie for sale in Walmart and picking it up thinking it was some cute holiday cartoon for her grandson & giving it to him as a gift. It's definitely not a kids movie and most adults would probably think it's dumb - but I love Adam Sandler movies so I thought it was great!

The Italian Job - I thought this movie might be stupid, but I actually kind of liked it. It wasn't THE BEST movie ever, but it was good. It made me really want a Mini Cooper! :)

28 Days Later - This was so scary & creepy. It made me afraid to go upstairs in my house alone at night! I had visions of zombies jumping out at me! I would highly recommend this movie though. It's unlike any movie I have seen in a long time.

So yeah - that's about it. Nothing exciting to see here folks! HOPEFULLY I can keep up with posting on here & not let another 2 weeks go by without updating. And dammit! One of these days I am FINALLY going to change my layout as I have been insisting for the longest time now!!
